Live at the Lyric

Live at the Lyric was a music event put on, to raise funds for the restoration of the beautiful Lyric Theatre in downtown Birmingham, Ala. I worked as Vice President of the Birmingham Landmarks Junior Board at the time, and our goal was to kickstart a fundraising campaign to raise $13 million for the project’s renovation. This particular event would be the first live concert held in the theatre, since the 1930s. After undergoing its full restoration, the theatre reopened its doors in 2016.
